My name is Rachael Barbash and I'm a documentary style photographer based in Columbus, Ohio. Shooting for over a decade and digitally since 2006, I've studied photography and digital photography at Columbus State and Ohio State University.
Teaching myself the basics through concert photography, under the name Heroine Dreams, I've continued on to shoot everything under the sun specializing in events, weddings and of course still loving live shows.
I am a staff photographer for Columbus State Community College and the Wexner Center for the Arts, as well as contributing music photographer for Columbus site Donewaiting.com and Alternative Press Magazine. Additionally, I've been published by 614 Magazine, Columbus Alive, The Other Paper as well as local and national rock bands.
Camera equipment includes: Canon 50D, Canon Digital Rebel Ti, 18-55mm zoom lens, 70-200mm telephoto lens, 50mm 1.8 prime lens, 10-17mm wide angle lens, 430EX Speedlite flash.
Computer experience: Working experience in Adobe CS5 Suite notably Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver &Flash, Adobe Lightroom 3, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and HTML.
